Take a look at what our Coda Pharmacy team have been up to this 2025!

So here it is, our Coda Pharmacy 2025 roundup. This year has been something truly special for us. We have grown in ways we could not have imagined and strengthened the connections that make our pharmacy feel like more than just a place to order prescriptions. From welcoming new faces to supporting familiar ones, every day reminded us why we do what we do.

We wanted to take a moment to reflect on the past year, celebrate the milestones big and small, and express our gratitude to the community that made it all possible. To our incredible patients, thank you for trusting us with your care and for being part of our journey. Your support continues to inspire us, and we are excited to carry that momentum with us into the year ahead. So, let's get into…

Charity of the Month Partnerships

The year started with a bang, introducing our Charity of the Month Campaigns to our social media platforms. Each month members of our team took the time to visit local charities to shoot content in an aim to spotlight their incredible work to our audience. We kickstarted the campaign with the incredible Wolo Foundation and went on to support Defiant Sports, Inspire Sussex, SASBAH, The Old Bank Wellbeing Trust and Age Concern Eastbourne

We are so thankful to every single charity that has partnered with us throughout the year. It has been a true pleasure to shine a spotlight on the incredible work you do, the lives you change, and the lasting impact you create within our community. Each month brought new stories, new connections, and new opportunities to learn from organisations making a real difference. We can’t wait for our line-up of charities we are supporting in 2026, keep an eye out over on our Instagram and Facebook

Hydration Station at St Wilfrids Hospice Starlight Stroll

This year, we were proud to host our very own Hydration Station. At the St Wilfrid’s Hospice annual Starlight Stroll, we set up a stand to offer free bottles of water to everyone taking part in the sponsored walk. With over 1,000 walkers and more than £80,000 raised, it was a simple way to support an incredible cause and cheer on those who gave their time and energy to such a meaningful event. We are looking forward to getting involved with more charity events in the future with our Hydration Station and we already have some incredible opportunities lined up. Community Wellness Event

After our Hydration Station, we went on to host our second free health check event. This took place at Eastbourne’s shopping centre, The Beacon, where our team offered free blood pressure and BMI checks, along with friendly pharmacy advice for anyone who had questions or concerns.

We were delighted to be joined by several fantastic local services. EMT Services provided CPR training, Ear For You Eastbourne offered ear health checks and advice, MSK Community Partnership shared guidance on joint and muscle care, and the Old Bank Wellbeing Trust supported attendees with mental health advice and information. The event was officially opened by Eastbourne Mayor Margaret Bannister, who even took part in a health check herself, see more here.

It was a truly successful day and a wonderful opportunity to connect with our community while offering accessible health checks, support, and advice to those who needed it. We’re looking forward to our next event, coming soon! See more from our health event here

Exciting Guests

This year we welcome inspiring guests into the Coda hub. We were thrilled to meet Eastbourne’s MP, Josh Babarinde OBE and show him around the pharmacy. We talked about local health needs, shared ideas, and even gave Josh a quick health check. It was a perfect chance to show the kind of everyday support we provide for our community’s wellbeing. See more from our time with Josh here.

We also welcomed HM Lord-Lieutenant of East Sussex, Andrew Blackman to the pharmacy. The visit sparked a valuable discussion about our ongoing commitment to the community, including how we can expand local support, strengthen health services, and continue delivering compassionate, patient-focused care.
