On behalf of Coda Pharmacy and Bournefree Magazine, we are absolutely delighted to announce the launch of the Eastbourne Community Awards 2026! Taking place on the 18th of June, from 7pm-10pm.
This initiative is incredibly close to our hearts. At Coda Pharmacy, our community isn’t just part of what we do, it’s the reason we do it. We see first-hand the kindness, resilience and dedication that makes Eastbourne such a special place to live and work. These awards are our way of shining a light on the individuals, organisations, volunteers and quiet heroes whose efforts often go unrecognised but whose impact is felt across our town.
The Eastbourne Community Awards 2026 will be a celebration of the people who lift others up, support local causes and bring our community together. From grassroots initiatives to established organisations, we want to honour those who go above and beyond to make a difference.
We recently hosted a special launch event at Glass House, the venue where the official awards ceremony will take place, and we were truly overwhelmed by the support. It was inspiring to see so many local businesses, community leaders and residents come together with such enthusiasm and pride for Eastbourne.
Our two chosen charities for this event are two that are very close to both Coda Pharmacy and Bournefree. All proceeds made from the event will be going to the incredible St Wilfrids Hospice Eastbourne and SASBAH (Sussex Association for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus).
The awards will be hosted by the wonderful Ryan Milns, host of Ashdown Radio and we are so grateful for his support.
The event will feature 10 awards, each proudly sponsored by a local business. We’re incredibly grateful to those who have already come on board to support the awards and help us celebrate our community. If you’re unable to sponsor an award, there will also be the opportunity to make a donation to support the chosen charities. The event is open to everyone, with tickets priced at £30 per person.

We are so excited for the Eastbourne Community Awards 2026 and to bring everyone together for what promises to be a truly special evening. Most of all, we’re looking forward to celebrating our town and the people who make Eastbourne the incredible community it is. We can’t wait to share this journey with you and celebrate together.
