We had a lovely day at Coda Pharmacy welcoming Eastbourne’s MP, Josh Babarinde OBE.

A highlight of the visit was realising that Josh, Chris and Colin all grew up just a few streets apart, a real local connection!

We talked through the health needs of Eastbourne and the surrounding area, as well as some of the wider challenges across the country. It was reassuring to find common ground on a number of projects already underway, and to see how much commitment there is to supporting local people.

Josh also had one of our health checks while he was here, which gave us a chance to show the kind of support we provide. He’s in good health, and it was a straightforward example of how accessible pharmacy services can be.

The visit was positive, practical and focused on how we can continue improving health services locally. At Coda Pharmacy, we’re committed to supporting our community and working with others to keep care moving in the right direction.

We can’t thank Josh enough for coming to visit us and are looking forward to exploring more ways we can work together in the future!
